Description:
Meet Maddie! One look at her precious heart shaped face and beautiful alert eyes will make you fall in love with this happy girl. She is a friendly sheltie girl who loves being with her pack. She loves to chase and play outside, or just sit in the shade under a tree with you. She likes alerting you to new sounds and people with her big bark.
She knows most dog commands like sit, come, lie down, shake and loves to “roll-over” for a belly rub. She is fully housebroken and can be trusted in the house alone. She has quickly learned the routines at her foster home and enjoys going for walks daily. She is very good on a leash with some correction when distracted by other people and cars. She enjoys playing with her foster dog siblings but would probably prefer to be in a single dog family where she can actively play with her person(s) instead.
Maddie and her foster mom are both needing to shed some pounds so are taking brisk walks 2 times a day and learning to like vegetables (carrots, green beans, peas) as treats.
