This adorable boy is Kenny. Kenny loves people and knows no strangers. He is very good natured and is a very trusting boy but can be timid at first. When Kenny warms up to you, watch out because he thinks he is very small and will fit into your lap! If that doesn’t work, he is very content to lie down at your feet and be as near you as possible.

Kenny is housebroken and has wonderful house manners. He is learning how to walk on a leash correctly. He is currently 65 lbs, but this tall boy is still skinny and needs to put on some at least 5 lbs. He is not food or toy aggressive.

Kenny is playful and loves to play with other dogs and loves walks and riding in a car. He does listen when he is told "no" and seems eager to please. He is so sweet and wants to be near you every minute. He is learning more commands as his foster mom works with him and is a smart boy. He has a strong herding instinct and seems a little nervous around very young children so a home with older children would be best. He would also do best in a one story home.

If you want a beautiful, loving, overgrown lap dog who just wants to be with you, Kenny is your dog!

The adoption contribution for Kenny is $225.00. Please contact Daryl at halvacs@aol.com for more information about Kenny or any of our other adoptable dogs.

Adopt a Dog

Please ask your friends to adopt dogs from shelters or rescues rather than buying them from pet stores. A dog is killed due to the lack of a home approximately every 9 seconds ... adopting rescue or shelter dogs will help to reduce the number of dogs euthanized in shelters; it will also reduce the demand for puppies bred for sale in pet stores in the inhumane conditions of puppy mills.
