Volunteer

Almost Home Dog Rescue of Ohio is run solely by volunteers who all share the same love of dogs. We come together to rescue abandoned, abused, and neglected Collies and other family friendly dogs. As an all-volunteer organization, rescue can become overwhelming at times. We are always looking for friendly volunteers that can help with transport, returning phone calls, event planning, etc.

Volunteers can help as little or as much as they like. Even volunteering just once can save the life of a dog. If you are able to give even a couple of hours of your time, please fill out the form below.

If you'd like more information before filling out the form below, please email Pamela Pittman or call her at 740-964-9697.

Almost Home heavily relies on donations to be able to continue our rescue. Quite often, the cost to rescue a dog far exceeds our requested adoption fee.
