Max is an 8-year old collie that has many of the habits of an untrained 2-year old.  He's a unique looking 73-lb dog with a collie head that looks like it was attached to a Star Wars' Wookie! Fortunately, he is staying with his expected adopter as a S2S dog. She loves him in spite of his frequent dispensing of "love bites" instead of licks or kisses. And that's not his only quirk. Unfortunately, Max was discovered to be in early stage kidney failure and was also diagnosed with bladder cancer.  He has a limited life expectancy and his medical needs will be expensive.  If you've ever wanted to sponsor a Wookie, this is your chance.  Almost Home, Max's S2S foster, and Max himself, if he could understand it, would all be grateful for any sponsorships or donations made in his name.
