Description:

Bentley is a vivacious, outgoing collie with a lot of the pup still in him. He is currently being fostered with his brother, Tucker. Bentley loves to play ball, but he also wants to be with his human: a good balance of energy and companionship. He “sort of” knows the command to sit and does better with “come,” but Bentley is still learning. He is learning to not pull on the leash, and he rides well in the car. When he gets excited about something, his eagerness to learn is overtaken by his excitement, and he tends not to listen as readily.

Bentley will bark at the vacuum and lawn mower and visitors to the house. He is so excited to meet new people that he just can’t help but bark. He will settle down in a reasonable amount of time.

Bentley does get on furniture and goes up and down stairs. Bentley will play in the house but will also follow his human around. He wants to be near his person. He and Tucker have a very special bond.  Bentley plays more when his brother is there to join in with him and their foster mom. Their crates are side by side, so he’s never been alone when his foster does leave the house.

Bentley’s foster mom describes him as boisterous but calm; curious but clingy; cuddly but fearless.  Overall, he is an elegant, good-natured, loving collie who will be the pride and joy of his forever person or family.
