Special Note: A physical fence will be required for Sparty and another family dog may be needed for companionship.

Sparty is a handsome smaller collie who is learning the joys of being an inside, family dog.  He was not socialized well so has some wariness but is making great progress.  He would like to have a more quiet, subdued household to live in, he is not fond of loud noises or commotion.  In just a few days he learned to love treats, does a happy dance when it's time to eat and is crate trained.  He is a mellow guy but he hasn't been with us long enough to know if that is his true self.  He would enjoy another laid back dog in his forever home to play with and to show him the routines in his new home. He has learned to and enjoys playing “ball.” When he first arrived he was more comfortable with dogs than people, but that is changing as he has gains confidence and knows people are trustworthy. Now you will find him sleeping at his foster mom's feet.  He is a gentle, good natured guy who is ready to love and be loved.
