Description:

We don't know much about Wyatt's beginnings, but he is showing us he has a true collie heart. He gets along with dogs and humans, and the resident cats are delighted that he ignores them. He loves attention and will follow his foster wherever she goes, happily accepting any affection, petting or attention that comes his way.  He has learned “sit” and is treat motivated and eager to please so we think he will grasp other requests/commands rather quickly.

While outside he might run a few laps, curiously explore or play somewhat boisterously with the resident dogs.  A little nervous about all of these changes in his life, he might pace a little inside but then settles down to cuddle. He is crate trained and does well at night but is not as happy to be crated when his foster leaves the house (since we believe he might have been dumped, we can understand that it's a little scary, but he does settle down).  Wyatt is good-natured, smart, outgoing and happily, albeit noisily, greets anyone who comes near.  He has good house manners, rides well in the car and is working on leash walking.  He enjoys life, loves attention and is a sensitive, kindhearted young man.
