Description:

When you meet Chandler, you will meet a friendly but initially reserved, handsome sable collie. Chandler is in the process of learning so he can be everything a collie should be in the not-so-distant future. For now, he doesn’t seem to know what toys are and prefers to stick to his foster mom’s side. When he feels secure, he is mellow and lies next to her on the sofa. Chandler is house-trained and doesn’t need to be left in the crate overnight; however, the first week he was crated and did well.  

Chandler doesn’t seem to have been socialized when he was younger, so he might do well with the right dog who will help him understand boundaries and manners but would do best as an only dog. Currently, Chandler does get quite rough in his play so would do better in a house without kids or with older kids.

Even with his difficulties adjusting to his new life, Chandler has shown he is full of potential. He is friendly, often laid-back and wants to love and be loved. The wonderful collie heart and soul are in there and Chandler has shown them. He is just waiting for his forever person to help him be all that he wants to be.
