Description:

This sweet girl is Toffee. Toffee is learning about the joys of being loved. Her foster mom feels she didn’t have much physical contact in the past; however, through her brushings and caresses, Toffee is gaining confidence. She is a gentle dog who isn’t prone to barking. Toffee knows the command to “sit,” but the rest is a work in progress. She is house trained and is relaxed and mellow when inside the home.

Toffee loves her foster mom’s dog; and when playing outside, she likes to run and chase. She’s also interested in exploring the yard on her own. Toffee’s seen a cat but hasn’t tried to interact with him. She hasn’t been crated at her foster home because there has been no need. She hasn’t had accidents or been anxious when left alone.

Gentle Toffee is waiting patiently for her forever home. Give her a moment when you meet her to overcome her shyness, and Toffee will come to you and show you the unplumbed depths of love and sweetness in her heart.
