Description:

Bixby is a happy and affectionate sheltie. His foster calls him a “great dog.” He is house trained and walks well on a lead. Bixby likes other dogs and should be fine with cats. This sheltie does still have a bit of the puppy in him at 18 months. For example, he likes kids, but sometimes chews fingers and jumps at times, so he would probably do better with older kids. Bixby has spent one night in a crate and done fine. However, he is an energetic sheltie so would be a good fit with an active person or family: a family that is willing to take him for walks and/or play with him several times a day. His foster doesn’t have a fenced-in yard but thinks Bixby would love one.
