Description:
Miss Lacey is making friends with every person and dog she meets. She absolutely adores attention of any kind: cuddles, pets, playtime—you name it. She’ll play with toys on her own but loves to interact with people and dogs. According to her foster mom, Lacey settled into her new home faster than any Sheltie she’s ever fostered. She does cry a little when her foster mom leaves for work, but she settles down quickly. Lacey hasn’t been around any cats, but we think she’ll do fine with them. On walks, she’s eager to make new doggy friends, but she always greets them with perfect manners. Due to the summer heat, her fosters bought a splash pad the day after Lacey arrived, and she joined right in the fun, cooling off her feet and drinking from the fountains.
Lacey is described as sweet, playful, expressive, curious and just “goes with the flow.” She willingly goes in her crate on command and comes when she’s called. She does enjoy a treat, so combined with wanting attention, Lacey is easy to motivate.
