Description:

Brooks is a happy collie who is friendly, approachable and loves everyone he meets—he even gives doggie hugs. He gets along well with dogs, too, and he would struggle to tell you which he enjoys more, people or dogs. Just reaching adulthood, Brooks is a well-adjusted collie who still has all the verve/enthusiasm you’d expect for a dog his age.

He plays with toys outside, proudly strutting around with one in his mouth. He also enjoys playing tug, chasing and wrestling with his foster sibling, then eventually, after a brisk game, Brooks settles down to explore the area. Inside, he is a total Velcro dog and can be found snuggling with his people or just following them around to make sure he doesn’t miss out on any fun. He’s a smart guy who already knows “sit,” “down,” “shake” and “come.” He doesn’t seem to have any issues with loud noises, both indoors and out, and he’s consistent at scratching at the door when he needs to go outside. Brooks’s dream forever family would be reasonably active, have a playful canine, and a comfy sofa to curl up on with his people.
