Description

Scout is a young sheltie mix. He is energetic and very sweet. From his DNA tests he is mixed with Beagle and Fox Terrier. That said he will need someone who will continue to work on his training if you want him to be active and adventurous otherwise, he is happy running the yard then sitting on the couch watching your favorite shows in the evening . He has the smarts of the sheltie but the stubbornness of the terrier and the nose of a beagle, so he can be a little challenging with the training, but he really does want to please his human.

He is perfectly fine with other dogs and will engage in play so if he had a doggie friend that would be great, doesn't have to be in the same household. Scout will let you know when something is happening outside or if someone is at the door but hasn't been a huge barker.
