Fortunately, this happy, easy-going boy settled in seamlessly at his foster home. From the moment he arrived, Sammy was eager to give out kisses—a habit he continues with everyone he meets.

Sammy’s happy-go-lucky nature has been a great asset. He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in the home, enjoying outdoor adventures before initiating playtime. Indoors, he entertains himself with toys. He’s also indifferent to the family cat, preferring to focus on playing with his fellow foster pup.

This smart and well-mannered boy knows his name, is house and crate-trained, and has mastered the sit command. His foster mom describes him as a quick learner, highly motivated by both treats and food. He has adjusted smoothly to his new environment with no signs of anxiety due to the change in households. At just 1 year old, Sammy is young and active and would thrive in a home that can provide him with some activity.
