Meet Rocky…loyal, affectionate, and not to mention adorable! Rocky’s foster family is quite smitten with him and believes he will make a wonderful pet. He gets along great with the foster’s family dog and is indifferent to the family cat. He likes the comfort and safety of inside his house and is a true protector of his new surroundings, happily alerting the family to any outside activities with his voice.
His foster family is working on his house manners and teaching him all sorts of new things. Thanks to his love of treats, Rocky is making steady progress with all of his commands and learning how to play with toys. Luckily, he is smart and wants to master it all.
Rocky especially loves his daily walks and does great on a leash. He is cautious around cars, but with reassurance, he has become more comfortable. Back in the comfort of his foster home, he follows his foster mom around and is eager to please her. When a treat comes out, this silly boy breaks into a happy dance, hoping his performance earns him a reward.
Rocky still has a lot to learn, but with continued guidance, this sheltie sweetheart will be a great addition to his forever home!
