Description:

Kona is a big, sometimes clumsy fluffball that always wants to please. He spent his early life outside and is now learning what it takes to be an indoor dog. His foster family says he is adapting quite well to indoor living. They have invested time in teaching him house manners, and it has paid off! Motivated by treats, he has learned the “sit” command and will go in his crate when asked. He is beginning to discover toys and will play fetch, especially enjoying the company of the family dog. In fact, he models his foster brother’s behavior and tries to keep up as he explores his new world. He is curious when meeting other dogs and happily greets them with a wagging tail and playful energy.

When Kona first came to live in his foster home, he was hesitant to try new things. With patience and encouragement from his foster family, he has been exposed to new situations and experiences. Reluctant at first, he now enjoys car rides, visits to the vet and even his grooming appointments. He warms up quickly to people and happily follows his foster mom around. He loves her cuddles, especially when she scratches him around his ears.

If you are looking for a big lug who may not know his size, this dog is for you. This easygoing boy will fill your heart with love and truly appreciate the joy of a forever home.
