Mara is just the cutest little tricolor sheltie. She is sure to melt your heart. Mara came to AHDRO as a stray, so we don’t have any background on her. However, she has made herself at home with her foster mom. She hasn’t shown any anxiety. Mara is food-motivated, which will help with any training. “Sit” and “stay” are two commands Mara currently knows. She does chase the cat, but it seems to be all in good fun in Mara’s mind. Hopefully, with continued exposure, she will learn to ignore the cat. Mara prefers the company of people and likes to explore when she first gets outside. Mara is a bit reserved when meeting new people, but quickly warms up to them. Mara’s foster mom can’t stop talking about how very sweet this little girl is. Who couldn’t use a little more sweetness in their life? Who would like that sweetness to be delivered by Mara?
