Angel truly lives up to her name! This adorable sable and white sheltie mix is blossoming more every day. She arrived at her foster home as a nervous, shy, cautious pup, but Angel quickly warmed up to her foster mom. Once she realized she was safe, her affectionate nature came shining through, and the snuggles began! Angel even has a favorite spot in the house where she can chew on her toys while keeping an eye on the household action.
Still a youngster, Angel is learning her basic commands and will accept treats with a little encouragement. She loves watching the family dog—sometimes even sharing a food bowl with him—and will follow him outside with encouragement, although she’s still a bit wary of new sights and sounds. Loud noises may startle her, which can send her scampering back to the comfort of her foster home.
Angel’s gentle spirit shines through when meeting new people. She warmed up quickly to the rest of the family, happily soaking up cuddles and even tolerating a 3-year-old giving her a mountain of toys.
This little cutie just needs time to build her confidence. She’ll thrive in a calm home with a loving family that will patiently continue to train her. Her foster mom is confident that she will thrive in a loving home.
