Hello! My name is Myles, and I am looking for a forever home! I am only one year old, but I have already experienced a lot. My first year was as a stray, so I feel like I missed out on fun puppy time; therefore, I still have lots to learn. Luckily, my amazing foster family has welcomed me into their home and shown me what love and comfort feel like. When I arrived, I was greeted by their two family dogs. I was so happy to see them, and I really enjoy playing with them. We love to go outside, sniff around and explore together. I’ve also met their cat—what an interesting little creature! I admit, I get curious and might bark and chase a bit, but I’m learning to be respectful.
At first, all the new surroundings were a little overwhelming, but I’m getting more comfortable every day. My foster family is teaching me my commands, and I already know how to sit and lie down. Treats are my favorite, and I’ll sit at attention for one. I also have plenty of chew toys to keep me occupied. Sometimes I can be a bit cautious when new people visit, but I have a plan for that—my crate! It’s my safe spot. I like to hang out there, watch all the action from its kitchen location, and I even sleep 8-9 hours in it.
My foster family describes me as enthusiastic and lively. I am a young boy after all! They are very patient with me and have given me reassurance in new situations. This is slowly building my confidence. It may be best if I found a home with a fenced-in yard so I have some boundaries. Another dog in the home would be an added bonus.
I hope you will consider adopting me. After all, I am a handsome, happy boy and quite a catch!
