Description:

Neo is a people dog. He loves to play fetch—but when his foster mom is done, so is Neo. He settles right down and often shifts straight into cuddle mode. Neo equally loves playing outside and inside and cuddling. He’s become his foster mom’s shadow, always close by. Neo is simply an all-around bundle of sheltie joy.

Clever and quick to learn, Neo figured out in just a week that he needs to step off the road if a car is approaching since there aren’t any sidewalks on his walking route. He also learned to walk on his foster mom’s left instead of right. If he sees another dog, he is alert and curious.
While he barked a bit at the neighbor’s dogs at first (separated by a fence), he now ignores them. The resident cat figured out within two days that Neo wasn’t any threat. When it comes to meeting new people, Neo is friendly and goes right up to be petted.  

His foster mom discovered that as she gave her signal for “stay,” Neo gave her hand a high five! That was a fun surprise. He also knows many other commands.
