Danny is a beautiful sheltie who came to Almost Home after his owner had to make a tough decision due to a job change. Wanting the very best for her beloved pup, she reached out in hopes of finding him a wonderful new home. This well-behaved 6-year-old boy was very well taken care of. He’s friendly, outgoing, and overall he is very happy. His foster family says he’s a total sweetheart who gets along famously with other dogs and greets everyone with a wag and a nuzzle.

Being an older dog, he already knows many commands such as “sit,” “down,” “roll over,” and “wait.” Eager to please, he continues to learn new things and is motivated by food and treats. Danny loves to play with toys and also enjoys his quiet time cuddling with his foster family. He enjoys car rides and walks and is a very good boy. “He is probably the easiest dog I’ve ever fostered,” states his foster mom. He is a true gem!
