Spunky and sassy are just two of the words that describe Jasper, a 2 1/2-year-old Sheltie on the search for his forever home. At first this cute guy may seem a little shy, but once he is comfortable and feels safe, you’ll see his happy personality shine. In fact, Jasper likes to be the center of attention and put on a show. His foster family has been working on Jasper’s commands, and he has mastered so many. With treats as his motivation, he has mastered sit, down, place and wait, and he’s eager to learn even more tricks. 

Jasper enjoys the outdoors and has met other dogs on his adventures. At first, he is apprehensive and may shy away, but he becomes more comfortable once play is initiated. Regarding cats, however, he is uninterested and just stays away. Back at home, Jasper settles in and turns into a total cuddlebug. He loves relaxing with his foster mom and is slowly warming up to his foster dad too. 

And if you’re lucky enough to meet him, don’t be surprised if he treats you to his signature happy dance. Jasper will do just about anything to earn some attention and put a big smile on your face!
