Look at this handsome sable-and-white boy! Garrett is a loyal sheltie who is making progress daily in his foster home. He is super sweet with his foster mom and dad and really loves spending time with his familiar family. Garrett is generally calm with new people, though he will nervously bark when given a lot of attention until he feels comfortable. He’s motivated to learn his house manners and is working hard to master all his commands. 

Garrett enjoys the outdoors—exploring, sniffing around, and going on walks. He can become scared when unfamiliar people greet him. When passing other dogs, he may bark aggressively and pull on his leash, but his foster family is emphasizing positive behavior. In fact, they have no complaints and say, “he does a happy dance every morning and anytime we return home, wagging his tail and twirling around.” Who wouldn't want to be greeted like that?
