Meet Shelby
Description:
Sometimes a senior foster is willing to see past a senior dog’s potential drawbacks and take a chance that their relationship will be loving and fulfilling for both of them. Such is the case with this little sweetheart of a dog. Shelby is an 11-year-old tricolor sheltie. She has a hearing deficit that may require surgery at some point, but Shelby’s senior foster mom—despite having no experience with a hard-of-hearing dog—opened her heart and home to give Shelby her best life and for them both to know unconditional love. She describes Shelby as timid, shy and sweet, make that very sweet. Shelby and her foster mom have just embarked on a wonderful journey.
